I must truly care…

You got arrested last night.

I stayed up late, calling all the police stations in the area.
Some of the people I talked to were rude, but others were friendly.

I was trying not to be paranoid – yet a large part of me was concerned that you hadn’t been arrested at all. See, one time a friend of mine was brutalized on the side of the road by someone pretending to be a cop. He had badge and a car and everything, and he used those to take advantage of her.

Oh my god I’m so glad that didn’t happen to you.
